BETA
Point to point scanning of very large components requires an accurate machine having considerable working strokes. DEA, with the experience gained from having built the largest co-ordinate measuring machines existing in the world, have chosen a gantry design for their BETA series.
Six standard size combinations are offered in the BETA range, with each size supplied in manual, motorized and numerical control version.

DELTA AND LAMBDA
Both point to point and continuous scanning of extremely large components require a fast and very accurate machine having considerable working strokes.
DEA, with the experience gained from having built the largest coordinate measuring machines existing in the world, have chosen the gantry design for their DELTA and LAMBDA series.
Fourteen standard size combinations are offered in the DELTA range, while the LAMBDA is avaible in twenty-five standard models.
Each model can be employed in either NC point to point or continuous scanning.
A wide range of compatible probes, sensors and accessories, allows the solution of all dimensional related to the digitizing of unknown surfaces.
DELTA and LAMBDA, owing to the rigidity of their structure and to the unique design of their air pads, can also perform milling operations on soft materials.

BRAVO SERIES 21, 22, 32, 42, 43
The BRAVO of the above mentioned series have been specially designed for those applications where the dominant concept is to shorten the delay between making a part and checking it, by bringing the inspection as close as possible to the point of manufacture. The BRAVO of the series in question are characterized by their considerable working strokes, modularity and measuring velocity. Their horizontal arm open structure is ideally suited to be integrated in the production process and automated with the same part loading system as the other manufacturing devices in the line. Owing to their modularity and speed these BRAVO represent the best solution for dimensional inspection of all those large components such as car panels and bodies, airframe parts, etc., which previously required large and expensive dedicated gauges in order to be checked. Adopted by all the major car manufactures in the world, BRAVO measuring robots can be equipped with a variety of accessories to configure highly productive inspection cells.
BRAVO DIAMOND
DEA BRAVO DIAMOND is a line of process oriented measuring robots for high accuracy and high speed dimensions inspection. Several advanced design solutions have been applied to BRAVO DIAMOND robots to insure excellent accuracy, unrivalled dynamics and minimum maintenance while extending the life of the equipment; their rugged construction makes suitable for operation in the most severe industrial environment.
The horizontal arm of the robot can be combined with rotary tables to become an ideal dimensional inspection cell in FMS environment.
"FIVE" FLEXIBLE FIXTURING
The dimensional inspection of components having sculptured surfaces and/or low rigidity requires the design and construction of complex dedicated gauges in order to support the part.
DEA FIVE is a flexible flexible system that allows the automatic configuration of very accurate fixtures to be carried out by the measuring robot prior the execution of the inspection cycle.
In order to prepare the fixture, the BRAVO handles the FIVE modular elements by means of a special gripper positioning each supporting point with the accuracy necessary to give the part its nominal shape once locked.
The FIVE elements are of modular conception in order to allow the fixturing of any kind of component with a single kit.
The programs necessary to configure the fixtures are generated automatically by the system through a very advanced part programming software.
- A FIVE system on a twin arm BRAVO 1104
- 2/2a - The gripper used to move the supporting elements
- Automatic tool changer and tool magazine
ACCESSORIES
- Automatic tool changer
- RENISHAW automatic tool changer
- "M01" projection microscope and "M02" centering microscope
- "TV01" TV probe
- "TL3M1" radial/axial continuous scanning probe fitted on a two axes indexable head
DATA HANDLING AND CONTROL SYSTEM
DEA can supply with their co-ordinate measuring machines and robots a wide variety of data handling and control system to cope with any possible application.
DEA data handling and control system are based on three different lines:
- line "TUTOR", PC based handling and control system for point to point manual or CNC measuring machines;
- line "MASTER", minicomputer based data handling and control system for point to point or CNC measuring machines and measuring robots;
- line "C", minicomputer based data handling and control system for automatic continuous scanning.
